Michael Page strives to add value - not just for our clients and candidates, but by contributing to a better society. That is why we have partnered up with Make-A-Wish in the Netherlands. Make-A-Wish is an organisation granting the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses. And they do so for a reason. Over the years, they have learned that the fulfilment of a wish is an unforgettable experience for the child and their family. It allows the child to be a child rather than a patient, and gives the entire family the strength to face whatever the future may bring. In recent years Make-A-Wish Netherlands has granted many thousands of wishes, empowering children and young people in the process. A wish is a unique experience because the child or young person themselves are the centre of attention rather than their illness.
Make-A-Wish Netherlands is able to make all of this happen thanks to the efforts of over 400 volunteers. Gifts and fundraising appeals (in cash or in kind) by companies, schools and (sports) clubs, as well as the support of our donors and partners, help us make the difference. Make-A-Wish Netherlands does not receive any government grants.
Michael Page supports Make-A-Wish by fundraising through initiatives like sporting events, by recruiting staff and volunteers free of charge, sharing knowledge and advice, helping to organise and execute specific wishes, and involving our network.
