As Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and the smooth running of daily accounting operations. You will combine hands-on accounting responsibilities with process improvement initiatives, working closely with colleagues across Finance in a dynamic and international organisation.

Functie

  • Manage month-end closing activities, including accruals and period-end reporting
  • Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and financial records
  • Support the purchase-to-pay process and day-to-day accounting activities
  • Prepare VAT, ICP and Intrastat returns
  • Manage fixed assets, capitalisation and related reporting
  • Support external audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor requests
  • Monitor financial data and contribute to reliable financial reporting
  • Identify opportunities to improve and automate finance processes
  • Collaborate with Finance, Sales and other internal stakeholders

Profiel

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • Several years of experience within an international finance environment
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting and month-end closing processes
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O) and/or Medius is a plus
  • Quick to adapt to new systems and digital finance tools
  • Analytical, accurate and proactive mindset
  • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Fluent in English (Dutch language is a plus)
