Our client is a leading international FMCG organisation with a strong presence across the Netherlands and Northern Europe. They are currently in a crucial phase of a global SAP S/4HANA transformation, making this an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact, business-critical project within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Functie

As a Supply Chain Systems Specialist a.i. , you will:

Operate at the intersection of Customer Service, Logistics, and IT, ensuring smooth system functionality and process optimisation across the region.
Act as the interface between business teams and IT, translating needs into system solutions
Support the S/4HANA transformation, particularly from a local (country) perspective
Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate system changes
Monitor and optimise Order-to-Cash and order management processes, including automation initiatives
Identify and resolve system and process gaps across interfaces (e.g. 3PLs, order management tools)
Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation
Serve as the logistics point of contact within the SAP transformation project
Drive continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives in supply chain systems
Support onboarding of new customers and system integrations
Collaborate cross-functionally across Brussels, Copenhagen, and other locations

Profiel

A successful Supply Chain Systems Specialist a.i. candidate for this role brings a combination of supply chain understanding and systems affinity, with strong stakeholder management skills.

Experience in Supply Chain with exposure to systems/processes
Affinity with ERP systems (SAP ECC / S4HANA is a plus, not required)
Experience with process improvement, system implementations, or transformation projects
Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across regions
Hands-on mindset: able to identify issues, analyse root causes, and drive solutions
Strong communication skills in English (mandatory)
Experience in FMCG
Available for 32-40 hours per week, with flexibility to travel occasionally

Please note: this is not an IT role. Candidates must have a background in Supply Chain and some knowldge of SAP.
