Global Quality Assistant Manager (Excellence & Compliance)

Our client is looking for a Global Quality Assistant Manager who is either immediately available or able to start in September, working 40 hours/week in Amsterdam (hybrid). This role is responsible for driving quality performance, compliance, and business continuity across factories by managing quality waste, financial provisions, root-cause investigations, and key quality improvement programs.

Functie

  • Lead the monthly Quality Business Waste process, including waste governance, financial provision reviews, root-cause analysis, and recovery planning.
  • Support factories in making quality-related decisions on product release, rework, and disposal to minimize waste and financial impact.
  • Drive quality performance improvement across multiple manufacturing sites through KPI monitoring, reporting, and trend analysis.
  • Coordinate activities related to Cleaning & Disinfection validation, metal detector compliance, and vision system validation.
  • Drive quality-by-design principles and waste reduction initiatives during product launches and manufacturing changes.
  • Develop and maintain quality dashboards, reports, management updates, and performance communications using Excel and Power BI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D, Engineering, Procurement, and Quality teams to deliver business objectives and strengthen quality governance.



Profiel

  • Resident in the Netherlands and can commute to Amsterdam
  • Immediately available or able to start in September
  • 40 hours/week (3 days/week at the office)
  • 1+ years of experience in Quality, Food Safety, or Manufacturing Quality
  • Experience with data analysis, KPI reporting, and dashboard creation using Excel and Power BI
  • Proven ability to conduct root-cause analysis and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience supporting quality compliance programs, waste reduction initiatives, and manufacturing quality processes
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and R&D teams
  • Proactive, analytical, and able to influence decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
