Over onze klant

Our client is an international manufacturing company with a strong focus on product development, innovation and advanced technology. From the Enschede site, R&D activities support global operations and long-term product strategy. To strengthen financial governance and provide better insight into R&D performance, the organisation is looking for a Finance Manager R&D to act as a strategic partner for engineering, procurement and leadership teams.

Functie

  • Support R&D leadership with financial analyses for project prioritisation and investment decisions
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and monthly performance reviews for R&D
  • Prepare dashboards and reports that explain cost development, trends and outlook
  • Evaluate business cases, R&D projects and technology investments
  • Coordinate R&D incentive and grant programmes (e.g. WBSO, EFRO) with Tax & Legal
  • Own the procure‑to‑pay process for all non‑material R&D spend
  • Oversee intercompany cost allocation and cross‑charging principles
  • Ensure accurate R&D cost recognition during period‑end close (IFRS / Dutch GAAP)



Profiel

  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Economics or similar
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience, including 4-5 years in a comparable role
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in project and investment analysis
  • Working knowledge of SAP and BI tools (e.g. Power BI)
  • Ability to work in an international environment and collaborate across teams
  • Strong communicator able to summarise complex topics clearly
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is beneficial
