This role focuses on designing, building, and operating a secure, globally distributed Azure platform that supports mission‑critical Treasury operations across 100+ legal entities. You will have end‑to‑end ownership of Azure networking, security, governance, and automation in a highly regulated, enterprise‑scale environment.

The client is a large, globally operating enterprise with a complex Treasury function supporting 100+ legal entities worldwide. It runs a mission‑critical, highly regulated Azure cloud platform that integrates with banks, SaaS providers, and internal IT systems. The organization operates at significant scale and places strong emphasis on security, compliance, governance, and engineering excellence.

Functie

  • Design, build, and operate a secure, scalable Azure platform supporting global Treasury operations.
  • Own Azure networking, identity, security, and governance across a multi‑subscription, highly regulated environment.
  • Implement and maintain landing zones, hub‑spoke networking, Private Link, DNS, and hybrid connectivity.
  • Enforce Zero Trust security using Entra ID, policies, RBAC, and audit‑ready controls.
  • Automate infrastructure and deployments using Terraform and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.


Profiel

  • A senior, hands‑on Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Azure networking and platform engineering in large‑scale, production environments.
  • Proven experience designing and operating secure, highly available cloud platforms in complex, regulated enterprise settings.
  • Strong ownership mindset, taking full responsibility for architecture, implementation, and ongoing operations rather than only maintenance.
  • Highly skilled in multi‑subscription Azure architectures, hub‑and‑spoke networking, hybrid connectivity, and enterprise DNS and routing.
  • Solid understanding and practical application of Zero Trust security principles using Entra ID, RBAC, Conditional Access, and policy enforcement.
  • Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform, and CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps.
  • Operationally strong, with hands‑on experience in monitoring, logging, incident response, and running mission‑critical 24/7 environments.
