This interim role focuses on managing the full financial accounting and reporting cycle for a real estate investment fund, ensuring accurate closings, compliant financial statements, and strong internal controls. You will also act as a key point of contact for auditors and stakeholders, supporting audits, reporting, and continuous process improvements in an international environment.

Functie

  • Oversee and manage the full financial accounting operations for a real estate investment fund
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in line with IFRS/Dutch GAAP
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Monitor fund performance through NAV calculations, cash flow tracking, and investment accounting
  • Act as the main point of contact for external auditors and coordinate audit activities
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain strong internal controls
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers
  • Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and reporting efficiency

Profiel

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 5-8+ years of relevant experience in financial accounting, ideally within real estate, asset management, or fund environments
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or Dutch GAAP, with hands-on experience in financial reporting and closing processes
  • Experience working in multi-entity or fund structures, with exposure to audits
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership
  • Ability to operate in an international environment and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills in English; Dutch is considered an advantage
