As a Customer Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operational processes for an international customer portfolio. You ensure accurate and timely order handling while acting as the key link between customers, supply chain, and internal stakeholders.

Our client is an international organization operating within the FMCG / supply chain industry. The company is known for its strong customer focus, collaborative culture, and commitment to continuous improvement within a complex global network.

Functie

In this role, you will operate in a fast-paced environment where you are responsible for the full order-to-cash process. You will maintain close contact with customers and internal teams, ensuring high service levels and smooth operations.

You are proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while continuously looking for ways to improve processes.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and process customer orders on a daily basis
  • Confirm orders and communicate delivery timelines
  • Manage the end-to-end order cycle (from entry to invoicing)
  • Proactively communicate delays, shortages, and operational issues
  • Prepare and issue invoices and export documentation
  • Monitor forecast adherence and align with stakeholders
  • Register, investigate, and resolve customer complaints including root cause analysis
  • Support KPI reporting and identify process improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with Planning, Finance, Commercial, and Operations teams
  • Participate in projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Profiel

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of thinking and working
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Supply Chain, Customer Service, or Order-to-Cash
  • Knowledge of logistics processes (Incoterms, export documentation)
  • Experience with SAP (SD/MM), Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, accurate, and results-driven
  • A hands-on team player with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus
