Job Description

  • Coordinate the accounting team and ensure accurate financial delivery
  • Lead month-end closing and support year-end audit processes
  • Manage day-to-day financial operations and reporting quality
  • Oversee monthly closings ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Supervise accounting activities and support the team
  • Ensure balance sheet reconciliations and data integrity
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Provide financial analysis to support decision-making
  • Support profitability analysis across business segments
  • Prepare and deliver monthly reports to headquarters
  • Analyse financial results and explain variances
  • Produce ad hoc reports for management
  • Ensure consistency between local and HQ reporting
  • Coordinate year-end closing activities
  • Act as main contact for external auditors
  • Prepare audit documentation and ensure smooth audits
  • Ensure compliance with Dutch regulations and policies
  • Improve financial processes and workflows
  • Strengthen internal controls in accounting processes
  • Support finance function standardisation and efficiency
  • Collaborate with HQ and support management decisions
  • Align reporting with headquarters requirements
  • Act as a finance business partner within the organisation



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 5-8+ years' experience in finance, preferably in leasing or services
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and month-end closing processes
  • Experience with IFRS and/or Dutch GAAP in an international environment
  • Proven ability to coordinate or manage an accounting team
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
