In this strategic role within the FP&A team, you will act as a Finance Business Partner for a production site, European trading activities, and the head office. You will provide sharp financial analyses, support investment decisions, and be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.

Functie

  • Act as a strategic Finance Business Partner for a Dutch production site, European trading activities, and staff departments;
  • Support strategic decision-making through in-depth financial analyses and clear, management-oriented reporting;
  • Initiate, develop, and present investment proposals, including well-founded business cases and advanced financial models;
  • Develop, optimize, and manage robust financial models to support various business units;
  • Responsible for preparing and coordinating periodic forecasts, the annual budgeting process, and long-term planning;
  • Prepare and present monthly management reports, including in-depth variance analyses versus budget and forecast;
  • Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to support strategic and tactical decision-making;
  • Continuously monitor market developments and translate financial and operational data into actionable insights and recommendations;
  • Ensure clear and effective communication of complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders;
  • Act as a key sparring partner for plant management, commercial leadership, and staff departments (including ICT, Finance, HR, and Executive Management).



Profiel

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an FP&A or Finance Business Partner role;
  • Solid knowledge of financial reporting, corporate finance, and financial modelling;
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent problem-solving abilities;
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SQL is a plus;
  • Independent, proactive, and able to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence at different levels of the organization;
  • Fluent in Dutch and strong command of English.
