Functie

You will work closely with programme teams, finance colleagues, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate budgeting, financial monitoring, reporting, and audit compliance.

Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
Monitor project performance against budgets and funding requirements.
Prepare financial reports for institutional donors and internal stakeholders.
Support project managers with financial insights and decision-making.
Ensure compliance with donor regulations, grant agreements, and internal controls.
Coordinate project audits and respond to audit requests.
Identify financial risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.
Improve financial processes, reporting tools, and data quality.
Collaborate with international teams to ensure timely and accurate financial information.

Profiel

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics, or a related field.
Minimum 6 years of experience in project control, financial control, or project finance.
Experience managing complex budgets, financial reporting, and audits.
Familiarity with donor-funded, grant-funded, international, or non-profit environments is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Excel skills; experience with SQL, Power BI, or other reporting tools is considered a plus.
Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across international teams.
Fluent in English.
