We are looking for a Customer Services Representative for an international organisation within the logistics industry based in Europoort. In this role within the transport and supply chain sector, you will be responsible for customer communication, order processing and delivering excellent service in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Our client is an international organisation operating within the logistics and transportation industry in Europoort. The company specialises in freight forwarding and multimodal transport solutions and offers a dynamic, international working environment with a strong focus on operational excellence and customer service.

Functie

- Plan and coordinate international shipments based on customer requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of transport orders.
- Negotiate rates with carriers and optimise transport costs.
- Prepare and manage transport documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate daily activities with Operations, Customer Service and Finance teams.
- Maintain close communication with hauliers and transport partners.
- Support customers by providing updates and resolving transport issues.
- Verify transport costs and support invoice validation processes.
- Prioritise urgent shipments and make operational decisions when required.
- Identify commercial opportunities through customer interactions.

Profiel

✔ Experience in freight forwarding, logistics or transport planning
✔ MBO or Bachelors in Logistics or Supply-chain
✔ Strong organisational and planning skills
✔ Proficient in MS Office
✔ Customer-focused and solution-oriented
✔ Strong communication skills
✔ Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
✔ Experience in an international logistics environment
✔ Commercial mindset and proactive attitude

Aanbod

- 13th month bonus
- 0,23 EUR travel reimbursement (max. 50km a day)
- 60/40 Hybrid
- 27 days off
- Start: ASAP
- Fulltime workweek of 36,25h
- Salaryrange: 3200 - 4000 based on fulltime
- 4 or 5 days a week
