Functie

In this role as Interim Technical Team Lead you will:
Lead a team of technical consultants and provide day-to-day people management and operational oversight.
Assess current work processes, workflows, and team structures to identify opportunities for improvement.
Improve resource allocation and workload distribution across the team.
Drive greater collaboration between consultants and encourage cross-functional support.
Strengthen knowledge-sharing practices and reduce dependency on individual expertise.
Promote consistency in methodologies, processes, and team agreements.
Establish clear expectations regarding responsibilities, performance, and ways of working.
Foster open communication, constructive feedback, and a culture of accountability.
Support employees through organizational and operational change initiatives.
Build engagement and alignment around team objectives and continuous improvement activities.

Profiel

For this role as Interim Technical Team Lead

Proven experience leading professional teams through development and change.
A strong background in team development, culture improvement, and organizational transformation.
Experience managing highly skilled professionals within a technical, engineering, consulting, or advisory environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and improve operational processes and work allocation.
A track record of identifying bottlenecks and implementing practical process improvements.
Experience breaking down silos and promoting collaboration across specialist teams.
The ability to create alignment while respecting individual expertise and autonomy.
Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
A calm and structured leadership style combined with natural authority and credibility.
Strong change management capabilities with the ability to create buy-in and engagement.

Fluent in Dutch and English
