Financial Controller-Dutch Speaker (Automotive)

We are looking for an experienced and commercially focused Financial Controller (Dutch Speaker) to oversee financial reporting, business performance analysis, and financial governance within a dynamic automotive environment. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring financial integrity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, Dutch GAAP, and local statutory requirements.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and account analyses.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities.
• Monitor business performance through detailed variance analysis and KPI reporting.
• Analyze vehicle sales margins, aftersales profitability, inventory turnover, and operational performance.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital optimization, and liquidity planning.
• Ensure robust internal controls, financial policies, and risk management procedures are maintained.
• Coordinate external and internal audits and act as the primary contact for auditors and tax advisors.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Partner with sales, operations, procurement, and supply chain teams to deliver financial insights.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and automation projects.
• Prepare management reports and present financial results and recommendations to senior leadership.
