Functie

  • Develop existing client relationships and win new business opportunities.
  • Identify commercial opportunities within engineering, technology, and industrial markets.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and present tailored consulting solutions to clients.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop a team of Business Managers and consultants.
  • Support team members during client meetings and business development activities.
  • Drive revenue growth, profitability, and overall business performance.
  • Monitor KPIs, margins, utilization rates, and business results.
  • Own and manage the P&L of the business unit.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent in partnership with HR.
  • Foster an entrepreneurial, high-performance, and people-focused culture.
  • Contribute to the long-term growth and success of the organization.


Profiel

  • Experience within consultancy, engineering services, staffing, technical services, or a commercial B2B environment.
  • Proven track record in business development, account management, or commercial negotiations.
  • Previous experience leading, coaching, or developing teams.
  • Ambitious manager ready to step into a first Director-level role.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
  • Comfortable taking responsibility for revenue growth, profitability, and business performance.
  • Strong relationship-builder with excellent communication skills.
  • Results-driven, resilient, and motivated by growth opportunities.
  • Hands-on leader who enjoys balancing commercial activities, team management and client development.
