Accounting Supervisor (Dutch Speaker)

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting business decisions, and driving continuous improvement across finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
• Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with Dutch GAAP and IFRS where applicable.
• Monitor inventory accounting and manufacturing cost accounting processes, ensuring accurate product costing and inventory valuation.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal control policies.
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
• Analyze production and operational costs, providing insights to improve profitability and cost efficiency.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities within the finance function.
• Supervise and develop accounting staff, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, supply chain, and operations teams to support business objectives.
