Accounting Lead (Dutch Speaker)

About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and hands-on Accounting Lead to join a fast-growing e-commerce business in Amsterdam. In this role, you will lead the accounting function, ensure accurate financial reporting, and help drive process improvements in a dynamic and international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day accounting operations and month-end closing process.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting under Dutch GAAP and IFRS where applicable.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with tax advisors and regulatory authorities.
• Improve accounting processes, controls, and automation initiatives.
• Support cash flow management and working capital optimization.
• Partner with business stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Mentor and develop junior accounting team members.
