In deze functie heb je veelvuldig contact met klanten, collega's, vervoerders en de douane. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de administratieve verwerking van logistieke gegevens in het systeem, verzorgt de inklaring van containers en zorgt voor een correcte afhandeling van douaneformaliteiten. Daarnaast schakel je met de douane en draag je bij aan een soepel verloop van de logistieke processen.

An exciting opportunity is available for an Ocean Freight Forwarder to join a well-established organisation in the logistics sector. Based in Schiphol, this role focuses on managing ocean freight operations with precision and efficiency.
As an Ocean Import Forwarder, you are responsible for managing the complete ocean import process from start to finish. You ensure shipments are handled efficiently, accurately, and in line with customer agreements. You act as the key contact for customers, carriers, agents, and internal departments.

As a logistics and transport expert, you oversee seamless ocean freight operations, managing end-to-end negotiations, coordination, and freight rate agreements. Your proactive approach and attention to detail ensure smooth logistics processes while maximizing profitability and customer satisfaction.
