An international consumer-focused organisation operating in a dynamic retail commercial environment in North Holland. The business manages a broad product portfolio and relies on data-driven planning to support sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Functie

In this role as Supply Planning Manager food 3PL a.i you will:

Coordinate end-to-end supply planning activities across a 3PL network.
Develop and maintain supply plans aligned with demand forecasts, inventory targets and business objectives.
Monitor inventory levels and proactively balance product availability, working capital and service performance.
Act as the primary interface between planning teams, suppliers, procurement and logistics partners.
Collaborate with procurement teams to support supplier performance and ensure smooth inbound product flows.
Oversee logistics and distribution activities, ensuring agreed service levels and operational KPIs are achieved.
Identify supply chain risks, capacity constraints and potential service disruptions, and implement mitigation plans.
Lead inventory, replenishment and capacity planning processes to support business continuity.
Drive alignment between demand planning, supply planning and operational execution.
Analyze supply chain data and generate performance reports, providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, quality standards and operational procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning processes, inventory management, logistics performance and stakeholder collaboration.

Profiel

Requirements for the Supply Planning Manager food 3PL a.i:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related field.
Proven experience in Merchandise Planning, Demand Planning, Category Analysis or a similar planning function.
At least 5 years of experience in planning within the food/FMCG industry (experience with supermarket chains is an advantage). Given the requirements of this assignment, we are currently focusing exclusively on candidates with a proven background in the food industry. As a result, candidates from other sectors will not be prioritized in the current selection process.
Experience managing 3PL operations in the retail/FMCG industry.
Strong understanding of forecasting, budgeting, inventory management and financial planning.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI and planning tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience working with multiple stakeholders across commercial and operational functions.
Ability to translate complex data into practical business recommendations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in Dutch
