Functie

Developing and implementing category management and sourcing strategies
Managing supplier relationships and performance programmes
Leading contract negotiations and commercial discussions
Identifying and delivering cost-saving and value-creation initiatives
Driving procurement-related improvement and transformation projects
Analysing market trends, risks, and sourcing opportunities
Expanding and evaluating supplier networks
Enhancing procurement processes, governance, and reporting structures
Supporting cross-functional initiatives together with internal stakeholders
Managing supplier risk and ensuring continuity of supply
Using data-driven insights to support procurement decisions
Contributing to the professionalisation of procurement practices across the organisation

Profiel

Bachelor's or Master's degree level of thinking and working
Several years of experience within strategic procurement or category management
Strong supplier management and contract negotiation experience
Excellent analytical and commercial skills
Proven ability to manage stakeholders across different levels of an organisation
Experience leading projects and improvement initiatives
A proactive and solution-oriented mindset
The ability to establish structure and drive change
Fluency in English
