As a Senior Trade Controller, you combine commercial finance with business partnering in a global commodity trading environment. Finance plays a key role in supporting business performance, partnering with commercial teams and providing valuable insights that drive growth and strategic decision-making.

Functie

  • Prepare and analyse management reporting and business performance
  • Provide financial insights to support commercial and strategic decision-making
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
  • Analyse margins, profitability and cost performance
  • Monitor financial KPIs and identify business improvement opportunities
  • Partner with Commercial, Operations and Finance teams across the business
  • Support the development and enhancement of reporting and business controls
  • Perform ad hoc financial and commercial analyses
  • Work with SAP and contribute to reporting improvements
  • Collaborate with international stakeholders across multiple regions

Profiel

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Trade Control, Business Control, Commercial Finance or a similar role
  • Experience within commodity trading or an international trading environment is highly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with SAP is required; Power BI is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a big advantage
