About Our Client

Our client is a global logistics and supply chain company specializing in delivering integrated freight forwarding, logistics, and technology solutions. The location in Hoofddorp has over 200 employees with 50 different nationalities. They have a flat company structure with a "no nonsense" culture.

Job Description

Coordinate Shipments: Manage and oversee road transport operations, including scheduling, routing, and tracking shipments.
Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with carriers, freight companies, and other service providers.
Documentation: Prepare and process all necessary documentation for shipments, including bills of lading, customs paperwork, and delivery receipts.
Customer Service: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing updates on shipment status.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including transportation laws, safety standards, and company policies.
Problem-Solving: Handle any operational issues or delays that arise, working to find effective and timely solutions.

The Successful Applicant

Experience: Proven experience in road transport forwarding is preferred.
Knowledge: Understanding of transportation regulations and customs procedures.
Skills: Organisational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Dutch is a plus.
