Job Description

In this role as Production Manager a.i. you will:

  • Lead and coordinate all daily production activities across multiple production lines and shifts.
  • Ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Drive performance improvements through KPI management, continuous improvement initiatives, and data-driven decision making.
  • Manage workforce planning, staffing levels, and operational capacity.
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing production leadership team.
  • Collaborate closely with Maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure adherence to operational procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead improvement projects focused on productivity, process stability, waste reduction, and cost optimization.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

For this role as Production Manager a.i.

  • HBO/Bachelor-level working and thinking capability.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong people management skills and a proven ability to lead through others.
  • Experience with operational excellence methodologies such as Lean, TPM, Kaizen, 5S, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of safety, quality, and compliance within production environments.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where balancing short-term operational demands with long-term improvements is essential.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate performance metrics into actionable
  • ZZP registered and based in the Netherlands.
