Job Description

In this role as Operations Manager a.i. you will:

  • Provide leadership and stability during a period of operational transition.
  • Assess current operations and identify immediate improvement opportunities.
  • Establish structure, clear processes, and operational best practices.
  • Lead and coach managers, team leaders, and operational teams.
  • Drive performance improvements across logistics and warehouse operations.
  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks and process inefficiencies.
  • Support logistics governance, compliance, and audit-related activities.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
  • Improve reporting, planning, and operational visibility.
  • Utilise Excel and existing operational systems to support decision-making.
  • Ensure continuity of operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Contribute to the development of a sustainable future operating model.

The Successful Applicant

For this role as Operations Manager a.i.

  • Extensive experience in logistics, distribution, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
  • Proven experience leading teams in complex or changing environments.
  • Strong people management, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with operational audits, compliance, or process governance.
  • A pragmatic and hands-on leadership style.
  • Experience working with WMS and operational reporting tools.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organisation.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English.
