As a Financial Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for the accounting, reporting and compliance activities of KEMEL's Dutch entity. Working closely with international colleagues and external advisors, you will play a key role in building efficient financial processes while ensuring accurate reporting and a strong control environment within a growing organisation.

Job Description

  • Manage the day-to-day financial administration, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger activities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual closings, including reconciliations and supporting documentation
  • Maintain accurate balance sheet accounts and perform account reconciliations
  • Prepare statutory and management reporting for local and international stakeholders
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning processes
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and internal control procedures
  • Coordinate external audits and liaise with accountants, payroll providers and tax advisors
  • Analyse financial results and explain variances where required
  • Assist in establishing, documenting and optimising accounting processes for the Dutch entity
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across Europe and other international locations

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline
  • Experience in Financial Accounting, General Ledger Accounting or a similar accounting-focused position
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, month-end closings and financial reporting
  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Analytical, accurate and proactive approach to work
  • Experience within an international organisation is considered an advantage
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where processes are still being developed
