In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating international shipments and ensuring that the entire freight forwarding process runs smoothly and efficiently.Job DescriptionAs a Freight Forwarder, you will play a key role in coordinating and managing international shipments. You will work closely with customers, carriers, agents and internal departments to ensure that shipments are handled accurately and delivered on time.Your responsibilities will include:Coordinating international freight shipments from origin to destination;Managing the day-to-day forwarding process and monitoring shipment progress;Maintaining contact with customers, carriers, agents and other logistics partners;Preparing, checking and processing transport and shipping documentation;Monitoring shipment status and proactively addressing delays or operational issues;Providing customers with regular updates regarding their shipments;Processing shipment information and documentation in internal systems;Coordinating with internal departments to ensure smooth operational processes;Handling exceptions and finding appropriate solutions when issues arise;Ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and in accordance with agreed procedures;Contributing to continuous improvements within the logistics and forwarding processes.You will work in a dynamic international environment where communication, organisation and attention to detail are essential.The Successful ApplicantWe are looking for a proactive and organised professional who enjoys working in an international logistics environment.
