Our client is a global logistics service provider offering integrated solutions for freight transport, supply chain, and technology. The Hoofddorp location employs over 250 people representing 50 different nationalities. They operate with a flat organisational structure and a 'no-nonsense' culture. The projects department handles varied shipments from key accounts, for example pharma, electronics and shipspare shipments.

Job Description

  • Creating and preparing import and export documentation for pharmaceutical shipments.
  • Identifying key information and connections, signalling problems, and tracking down causes.
  • Handling export requests and booking shipments with airlines.
  • Recording shipment-related costs and informing customers about shipment status.
  • Daily accurate processing of tasks, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Working in a team-oriented manner and being accessible to customers.
  • Following up on customs requests and reporting irregularities.
  • Initiating claims in case of damage.

The Successful Applicant

  • Eligibility to obtain a Certificate of Conduct (VGB)
    Background check that requires you to live 8+ years in the EU.
  • Living in the Randstad area
  • Proven experience with pharmaceuticals.
  • Strong command English, both spoken and written
  • Accurate and proactive
  • Flexible to occassionally work outside regular hours when necessary
