The Dutch finance team works closely with colleagues across Southern Europe in accounting, tax, reporting and FP&A.Job Description The ChallengeThis is not a traditional Finance Manager role focused purely on accounting and reporting. You will be responsible for the overall financial management of the Dutch entities while acting as a trusted business partner to management.You will ensure financial control and compliance, improve financial visibility and help the organisation make better commercial and operational decisions. The role sits at the centre of the business. You will work across finance, operations, purchasing and systems, helping the company scale efficiently while maintaining strong financial discipline.If you enjoy ownership, visibility and responsibility, this role offers all three.What Will You Be Doing?Financial Management & AccountingLead all accounting and financial administration activities for the Dutch entitiesPrepare statutory financial statements and group reporting packagesEnsure compliance with local accounting, tax and regulatory requirementsCoordinate internal and external auditsSafeguard the quality and accuracy of financial reportingTreasury & Cash ManagementManage liquidity, treasury planning and cash flow forecastingPrepare treasury and financing budgetsMaintain relationships with banks and financial institutionsSupport financing activities and optimise working capital managementBusiness Control & Performance ManagementLead budgeting, forecasting and business planning processesPrepare monthly management reporting and performance analysesSupport management with financial insights and recommendationsIdentify opportunities for margin improvement, efficiency gains and cost optimisationAssess the financial impact of strategic initiatives and investmentsPurchasing & Operations SupportSupport purchasing budget planning and supplier managementAnalyse procurement costs and identify optimisation opportunitiesEnsure transparency and governance throughout purchasing activitiesContribute to operational decision-making through financial analysisSystems & Business ImprovementCollaborate with international IT teams on system improvements and implementationsSupport process optimisation projects across finance and operationsDrive reporting improvements through SAP and business intelligence toolsContribute to the further professionalisation and scalability of the organisationThe Successful ApplicantWho Are We Looking For?We are looking for a finance professional who combines strong technical expertise with a pragmatic and business-oriented mindset. Someone who enjoys taking ownership, likes being close to operations and is motivated by helping a business grow. You are comfortable switching between strategic discussions, detailed analysis and hands-on execution.You bring:A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration4 to 8 years of relevant experience within Finance, Controlling, Audit or AccountingStrong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and business controlExperience with SAP (preferably)Strong Excel skills and experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or similarFluent English communication skillsDutch and/or Spanish language skills are considered a strong advantage (B1/B2 level)Experience within FMCG, food production, manufacturing, retail or international trading environments is highly valued.
