An international organisation is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Consultant/Advisor to provide clarity, prioritisation, and strategic direction for cybersecurity certification requirements across EMEA markets. The assignment focuses on assessing certification obligations, defining business impacts and gaps, and delivering a practical roadmap to achieve priority certifications.

Our client is a large international organisation operating in a regulated environment with stakeholders across business, technology, cybersecurity, compliance, and procurement functions throughout the EMEA region.

Functie

  • Develop a comprehensive inventory of relevant cybersecurity certification requirements across EMEA markets.
  • Assess certification requirements against business relevance, risk exposure, urgency, and market impact.
  • Deliver a prioritised certification framework to support business and leadership decision-making.
  • Identify compliance gaps, dependencies, risks, owners, and required remediation actions.
  • Produce a practical roadmap for achieving and maintaining priority certifications.
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment across business, IT, cybersecurity, legal/compliance, procurement, and external partners.
  • Create executive-ready decision papers, status updates, and communication materials.
  • Document timelines, resource requirements, milestones, and key decision points for successful delivery.

Profiel

  • 7-10+ years of experience in consulting, business analysis, cybersecurity, compliance, risk, IT governance, or regulated environments.
  • Proven experience assessing cybersecurity certification, compliance, or regulatory requirements across European or multi-country environments.
  • Strong ability to translate regulatory obligations into business outcomes, delivery plans, ownership models, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Experience engaging senior business leaders and collaborating with cybersecurity, infrastructure, application, legal/compliance, and procurement stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with fluency in English.
