Als Senior Accountant ben je verantwoordelijk voor een correcte en tijdige financiële administratie. Je speelt een cruciale rol in de maand- en jaarafsluiting en bent een sparringpartner voor interne en externe stakeholders.
This role is responsible for managing and improving financial processes, ensuring accurate reporting, and overseeing day-to-day accounting activities within an international, talent-focused organization. It requires a proactive financial professional with strong analytical skills, experience in accounting, and an affinity for the sports and entertainment industry.
You will support the credit team in assessing the financial strength and risk profile of customers across both retail and wholesale segments. You will analyse financial statements, evaluate creditworthiness, and help structure leasing solutions that balance commercial goals with sound risk management.
You'll work closely with senior leadership on financial statements, audits, and reporting, while helping to improve processes, implement systems, and strengthen internal controls. This is a hands-on role with room to learn, grow, and make an impact - ideal for someone moving from audit who wants to see how a finance function really operates in a scaling business.

Als financial controller bij Sagax heb je een breed takenpakket, waaronder groepsrapportage, dashboard management, ESG-reporting en jaarlijkse cijfers. Je stelt kwartaal afsluitingen op, draagt bij aan audits, projectadministratie en procesverbeteringen (o.a. Power BI). Je maakt forecast en budget prognoses in samenwerking met assetmanagement. Voor de organisatie ben jij de financiële partner en zorg je dat de finance afdeling processen goed uitvoert.
In deze rol leid je het financiële beleid binnen een internationale organisatie en stuur je het finance team aan. Je combineert strategische verantwoordelijkheid met hands-on financiële sturing en draagt direct bij aan belangrijke beslissingen en procesverbeteringen.
