The RoleAs Team Lead Operations, you will be responsible for leading a team within one of the core warehouse processes, such as inbound, storage, order picking, packing, or outbound operations.You will manage a team of operators and team coordinators, ensuring daily targets are achieved while maintaining a strong focus on employee engagement, development, quality, and safety.

About Our Client

Our client is an international logistics service provider operating a large-scale, highly automated distribution centre in the Netherlands. To support continued growth, they are looking for a Team Lead Operations who can drive operational excellence while developing and motivating warehouse teams.You will join a highly automated fulfilment operation serving a leading European e-commerce platform. The site operates in a fast-paced logistics environment where technology, people, and processes come together to deliver exceptional service levels.

The operation runs in a multi-shift schedule, requiring flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, nights, and occasional weekends.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate operational employees
  • Manage daily warehouse operations and ensure KPI targets are met
  • Make operational decisions to optimize workflow and productivity
  • Monitor staffing, resources, and equipment efficiency
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Analyze operational performance and prepare reports
  • Conduct performance reviews and support absence management
  • Ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards

The Successful Applicant

Profile

  • Proven experience leading teams within logistics, warehousing, production, or another operational environment
  • Strong people management and coaching skills
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead position
  • Results-driven, proactive, and capable of working under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving skills and continuous improvement mindset
  • Full-time availability and flexibility regarding shift work
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
