Over onze klant

Our client is an international aviation and airport services organization based at Schiphol and part of a larger global group headquartered in Dubai. The business is looking for an experienced Finance Manager ad interim to strengthen the local finance function during a period of operational and organizational development.

Functie

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
  • Ensure timely and reliable financial and management reporting.
  • Review and improve finance processes, controls, and ways of working.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and performance monitoring activities.
  • Act as a trusted sparring partner to local management and key business stakeholders.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and support to the existing finance team.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, transparency, and reporting quality.
  • Support audits, compliance activities, and finance governance requirements.
  • Contribute to ongoing finance transformation, systems, and reporting improvement initiatives.
  • Operate effectively in both strategic discussions and day-to-day finance operations.



Profiel

Candidate Profile

  • Extensive experience as Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Senior Business Controller, Head of Finance, or comparable senior finance leadership role.
  • Strong background in financial reporting, management reporting, planning & control, budgeting, forecasting, and finance operations.
  • Demonstrated experience improving finance processes, reporting structures, and internal controls.
  • Comfortable operating independently within an interim environment and quickly adding value.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Hands-on mentality with the willingness to support operational finance activities where needed.
  • Experience within international and matrix organizations is highly desirable.



Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with international group reporting environments.
  • Experience working with organizations that have regional or global headquarters outside the Netherlands is considered advantageous.
  • Previous exposure to Middle Eastern business environments or collaboration with teams located in the Gulf region would be beneficial due to the international structure of the organization.
  • Experience with ERP implementations, reporting improvements, finance transformation projects, and process optimization initiatives.
