As a Senior Accountant a.i. , you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations and ensuring compliance within the Manufacturing and Production sector. This temporary role is based in Rotterdam and requires strong expertise in accounting and finance.

As a Senior Country Accountant, you will be responsible for financial reporting under IFRS and local GAAP, tax compliance (VAT/CIT), and statutory filings for legal entities in the Netherlands and Denmark, including global branches. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance, supporting audits, and partnering with internal stakeholders to improve financial processes.

Als Group Accountant ben je verantwoordelijk voor de financiële administratie van meerdere corporate entiteiten binnen een internationale maritieme organisatie. Je zorgt voor een tijdige en correcte maandafsluiting, stelt rapportages op en werkt nauw samen met HR en externe auditors.

Als Financial Accountant maak je deel uit van het Financial Accounting team, dat verantwoordelijk is voor de boekhouding van 11 entiteiten op complexe gebieden zoals (hernieuwbare) grondstoffenhandelsactiviteiten, hedge accounting, derivaten en IFRS 16, voornamelijk voor de Benelux. Het team werkt nauw samen met andere afdelingen in Rotterdam en met teams in Duitsland en Zwitserland.

Je houdt het grootboek strak op orde en zorgt dat de administratie altijd klopt. Met jouw analyses en rapportages geef je het management grip op de cijfers.
