The Global Category Manager - Indirect Procurement is responsible for developing, leading, and implementing global category strategies for one or more indirect spend categories (e.g., Marketing, IT, Logistics, HR Services, Facilities, Professional Services). The role minimizes total cost of ownership, delivers sustainable savings, and ensures procurement value contribution across the Perfetti Van Melle Group.
As a Technical Buyer, you are responsible for sourcing and purchasing the materials, components, and supplies required for production. You ensure that procurement is cost-effective, within budget, and delivered on time to meet production schedules. In addition, you identify opportunities to consolidate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) across business units and suppliers, driving efficiency and consistency in procurement processes.
