Job Description

In this role as Warehouse Manager a.i.

  • Lead all day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant performance.
  • Manage warehouse teams, supporting employee development, engagement, and operational delivery.
  • Oversee relationships with third-party logistics and warehousing partners to drive service excellence.
  • Monitor warehouse budgets, costs, and resource utilization to optimize financial performance.
  • Implement and track operational KPIs focused on quality, productivity, safety, and customer service.
  • Ensure timely order fulfillment and outbound shipment performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and operational effectiveness.
  • Maintain compliance with environmental, health & safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, HR, and Operations teams.
  • Support strategic warehousing projects and network optimization initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements for this Warehouse Manager a.i. :

  • Experience managing warehouse operations within a manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environment.
  • Proven leadership experience with responsibility for operational teams and performance management.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse safety, EHS, and quality management systems.
  • Experience managing budgets, operational KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Understanding of third-party logistics and warehouse provider management.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive and results-oriented leadership style.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • ZZP registered and based in the Netherlands
