We are looking for an experienced Trade Operations Specialist who can independently manage and optimize post-trade processes within a dynamic international organization. The ideal candidate combines strong trade operations expertise, customs knowledge, and SAP experience, and is able to hit the ground running from day one.

Job Description

  • Manage the end-to-end trade lifecycle from execution to settlement.
  • Validate and reconcile trade and transactional data.
  • Coordinate confirmations, invoicing, and settlement processes.
  • Support customs declarations, permits, and compliance-related activities.
  • Identify and resolve operational discrepancies and process bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Commercial, and external stakeholders.
  • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and efficiency gains.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and audit-compliant documentation.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent level, preferably in Customs, International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Trade Operations, Trade Compliance, Customs, or Supply Chain.
  • Experience with customs regulations, declarations, and import/export processes.
  • Strong operational mindset and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, hands-on, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially aware with a no-nonsense attitude.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • SAP experience is mandatory.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC is strongly preferred.
  • Available to start immediately or on very short notice.
