The client is looking for an experienced OneStream specialist to provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for their Finance and Consolidation teams, acting as the bridge between technical solutions and finance stakeholders. The assignment starts ASAP, initially on a part-time basis until the end of December, with the potential to increase to full-time during the January and February closing periods.

Functie



  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for the OneStream application, acting as the first point of contact for finance users experiencing system-related issues.


  • Manage, investigate, and resolve support tickets, ensuring incidents and user requests are handled efficiently and within agreed timelines.


  • Troubleshoot functional and technical issues within the OneStream environment, escalating complex cases where required.


  • Support Finance stakeholders during critical reporting periods, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.


  • Act as a liaison between Finance and IT teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions and communicating technical issues in a user-friendly manner.


  • Assist end-users with system navigation, reporting queries, data validation issues, workflow questions, and general OneStream-related support.


  • Monitor ticket queues, prioritize incidents appropriately, and ensure accurate documentation of issues and resolutions.


  • Collaborate closely with teams located in Portugal, Switzerland, and other international locations to maintain service continuity and system stability.


  • Support onboarding and knowledge transfer activities, helping users understand processes and best practices within OneStream.


  • Contribute to process improvements by identifying recurring issues, recommending solutions, and supporting continuous enhancement of the OneStream platform.


  • Maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and provide a high level of customer service to finance users across the organization.


  • Ensure smooth operation of the consolidation and financial reporting processes by delivering timely support and minimizing disruption to business-critical activities.



Profiel

The successful candidate is a technically strong OneStream Support Specialist with proven experience providing Level 1 and Level 2 application support within a Finance environment. They are comfortable troubleshooting system issues, managing support tickets, and acting as the first point of contact for business users.

While deep technical expertise in OneStream is the primary requirement, the ideal candidate also possesses a solid understanding of financial processes such as consolidation, reporting, and month-end close activities. This enables them to effectively communicate with Finance stakeholders and understand the business impact of system-related issues.

The candidate is service-oriented, proactive, and enjoys working closely with end-users. They are able to translate technical concepts into language that Finance professionals can easily understand and are confident operating as the bridge between Finance and IT teams.

Given the fluctuating workload throughout the assignment, the ideal consultant is flexible, adaptable, and able to perform effectively during critical reporting periods. They can work independently, take ownership of tickets from start to finish, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with OneStream
  • Previous Level 1 and Level 2 support experience
  • Experienced in ticket management and issue resolution
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills
  • Exposure to Finance, Accounting, Consolidation, or Reporting processes
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Fluent English
  • Available for a flexible part-time/full-time assignment through mid-February
