Own the European order intake and margin targets for the combined portfolio and build the annual territory plan that delivers theses and achieve sustainable growth.Develop new business. Identify, qualify and secure opportunities with industrial end users, utilities, OEMs, EPC contractors and architectural specifiers throughout Europe.Influence specification early. Engage consulting engineers, design houses and specifiers at concept and FEED stage so that our products are written into the specification before a tender exists.Make deliberate market choices. Develop country and segment plans for the priority markets in the territory and be clear about where you will not spend time.Lead complex opportunities. Shape the technical and commercial approach on large, multi-stakeholder opportunities, working with product management,engineering, commercial and operations.Manage a robust pipeline. Maintain accurate opportunity data forecasting and reporting in CRM with enough discipline that enables effective business planning and operational alignment.Negotiate and secure. lead opportunities through commercial negotiation, terms and contract award, then hand over cleanly to project execution.Represent the brand. Participate at trade fairs, technical conferences, seminars and industry associations, and build the network that generates inbound enquiry.Provide market intelligence. Report competitor activity, pricing movement,regulatory change and product gaps to the business, including the things we would rather not hear.The Successful ApplicantEssentialMinimum 8 years in B2B sales of engineered capital equipment or process solutions into industrial, municipal or infrastructure markets.A demonstrable record of specification-led selling.
