Job Description

You will work closely with programme teams, finance colleagues, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate budgeting, financial monitoring, reporting, and audit compliance.

  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
  • Monitor project performance against budgets and funding requirements.
  • Prepare financial reports for institutional donors and internal stakeholders.
  • Support project managers with financial insights and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with donor regulations, grant agreements, and internal controls.
  • Coordinate project audits and respond to audit requests.
  • Identify financial risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  • Improve financial processes, reporting tools, and data quality.
  • Collaborate with international teams to ensure timely and accurate financial information.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in project control, financial control, or project finance.
  • Experience managing complex budgets, financial reporting, and audits.
  • Familiarity with donor-funded, grant-funded, international, or non-profit environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with SQL, Power BI, or other reporting tools is considered a plus.
  • Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across international teams.
  • Fluent in English.
