Job Description

As Production Planner a.i., you will be responsible for aligning customer demand with operational capacity while maintaining optimal inventory levels and service performance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Transform customer demand and forecast information into actionable planning decisions.
  • Adjust and optimise planning activities in response to changing business requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and other operational stakeholders.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure the availability of critical materials.
  • Support short- and medium-term planning processes to maintain continuity across operations.
  • Analyse trends, forecasts, and performance data to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Contribute to the enhancement and automation of planning processes, systems, and data structures.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on priorities and objectives.
  • Provide planning insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Production Planner a.i. will have:

  • HBO working and thinking level, preferably within Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into practical solutions.
  • The ability to maintain overview and prioritise effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive mindset and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn and develop.
  • The ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
