Job Description

Depending on the nature of the assignment, responsibilities for the role as Interim Logistics/Transport Manager may include:

  • Managing transport, warehousing, and distribution operations
  • Leading logistics teams and operational managers
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
  • Managing relationships with logistics service providers and transport partners
  • Monitoring KPIs related to service levels, cost efficiency, and operational performance
  • Supporting change management and business transformation projects
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant transport, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Improving supply chain performance and service delivery



The Successful Applicant

The requirements for a Interim Logistics/Transport Manager role include:

  • Proven experience as a Logistics Manager, Transport Manager, Distribution Manager, or similar leadership role
  • Experience working within logistics environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
  • Results-driven and hands-on management style
  • Experience with operational improvement and change projects
  • Fluent in Dutch and/or English
  • Available for interim assignments on a freelance basis
