Based in Amsterdam, the Group Finance Manager will play a key role within the finance leadership team, supporting the organisation's continued expansion and operational performance.

Job Description



Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Group Finance Manager will take ownership of group reporting, treasury, tax, financial planning, and compliance activities across multiple international entities. The position requires a commercially mindset of finance professional capable of providing strategic insights while ensuring robust financial governance and control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the group budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Oversee treasury activities, including cash management, liquidity planning, working capital optimisation, financing arrangements, and banking relationships.
  • Manage the monthly management accounts and group consolidation process for multiple international entities under IFRS.
  • Deliver meaningful financial and operational analysis to senior management, supporting profitability improvement and business performance initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing, and regulatory reporting obligations across various jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate annual audits, statutory accounts preparation, and interactions with external auditors and advisors.
  • Support the CFO and executive leadership team with financial modelling, scenario planning, investment evaluations, and strategic projects.
  • Partner with commercial, supply chain, procurement, and operational stakeholders to enhance business performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Manage key relationships with banks, tax advisors, legal counsel, and other service providers across Europe.
  • Drive enhancements in reporting, internal controls, systems, and finance processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the wider finance team while promoting consistency and best practices across the organisation.
  • Assist with corporate finance initiatives, acquisitions, integrations, and other growth-related projects.

The Successful Applicant



  • Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA, RA, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS reporting requirements and financial controls.
  • Relevant post-qualification experience, including training within a Big Four accounting environment.
  • Previous experience within FMCG, consumer products, manufacturing, retail, or a similarly fast-paced international business.
  • Demonstrated expertise in treasury management, consolidation, financial reporting, and multi-entity environments.
  • Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and performance analysis capabilities.
  • Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and managing relationships with external advisors.
  • Ability to translate complex financial information into clear business recommendations.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP and financial reporting systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Dutch is mandatory.
