An opportunity for a Financial Controller to take ownership of accounting, reporting, compliance, and corporate administration activities within a private investment environment. Working closely with senior finance professionals, you will support financial operations, tax matters, governance processes, and strategic projects across a diverse investment portfolio.

Our client is an established investment firm focused on acquiring, improving, and developing businesses across multiple sectors. The organisation operates through a range of investment entities and management companies and maintains a hands-on approach to financial oversight, governance, and value creation. As part of a small and experienced finance function, this position offers exposure to both operational finance and investment-related activities.

Functie

  • Manage the financial administration and reporting processes across multiple corporate and investment entities.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements and coordinate year-end reporting activities.
  • Support corporate tax compliance and liaise with external advisors where required.
  • Monitor and enhance finance, reporting, and control processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Coordinate regulatory and statutory filings with relevant authorities and stakeholders.
  • Review corporate documentation, agreements, governance records, and legal correspondence.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to administrative finance activities within the team.
  • Assist with investment transactions, corporate restructuring projects, and other strategic initiatives.



Profiel

  • MBO+ or HBO level education, ideally in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in financial accounting, controllership, audit, fund administration, or a comparable finance role.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, corporate structures, and cash flow management.
  • Interest in taxation, corporate governance, compliance, or legal documentation.
  • Comfortable operating in a hands-on environment with broad responsibilities.
  • Strong attention to detail combined with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fluent Dutch and English
