Financial Controller (Investment firm)

As Financial Controller, you will be a key member of the finance team and work closely with the CFRO. You will take ownership of the accounting and reporting processes across several entities, whilst actively contributing to the further professionalisation and optimisation of the finance function.
This is a broad position offering a combination of operational accounting responsibilities, financial control, stakeholder management and process improvement projects.Accounting & Financial Control

• Responsible for the accounting of multiple legal entities.
• Manage and review complex accounting entries and financial transactions.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness and integrity of financial records.
• Monitor balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.

Closing & Reporting

• Coordinate and execute monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes.
• Prepare management reports and financial analyses for senior management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc financial reporting requirements.
• Contribute to the preparation of annual financial statements.

Audit & External Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
• Coordinate audit requests and ensure timely delivery of supporting documentation.
• Support regulatory, tax and reporting requirements where needed.

Process Improvement & Automation

• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and workflows.
• Drive automation initiatives and increase efficiency within the finance function.
• Improve reporting quality, data accuracy and internal controls.

Business Partnering

• Support management with financial insights and analysis.
• Actively challenge existing processes and contribute ideas for improvement.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across finance, compliance and operations.
