Financial Controller (Heerhugowaard)

As Financial Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with IFRS standards, and supporting management with meaningful financial insights. You will work closely with operational and commercial stakeholders across the business, providing financial guidance and driving process improvements within the finance function.

This position is office-based with the flexibility to work from home one day per week.

The key responsibilities are to;

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with IFRS.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial reporting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and oversee general ledger integrity.
• Coordinate external audits and act as the primary contact for auditors.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Monitor inventory valuation, manufacturing costs, and cost accounting activities.
• Prepare management reports and KPI dashboards for senior leadership.
• Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and reporting systems.
• Support business case development and investment evaluations.
• Collaborate closely with production, supply chain, and operations teams.
