A mid-sized pharmaceutical trading company focused on sourcing, warehousing and distributing medicines. The environment is tightly regulated, process-driven and characterised by short lines of communication.

Job Description

You work closely with operations to ensure financial data is complete, accurate and usable on a daily basis. This is a hands-on role where you actively process, correct and improve financial flows.

  • Process, validate and correct financial entries and transactional data
  • Prepare monthly reports including manual accruals and reclassifications
  • Reconcile inventory by aligning physical stock with financial records
  • Perform pricing, margin and purchasing analyses across the trading chain
  • Support month-end close (journals, reconciliations, data checks)
  • Identify and implement process improvements in a partly manual setup
  • Liaise daily with logistics, procurement and sales on discrepancies

The Successful Applicant

You are comfortable working directly in the numbers and enjoy a highly operational environment. You are structured, proactive and not afraid of manual finance work.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • 3-5 years' experience in an operational finance or controlling role
  • Experience in pharma, healthcare or trading is a strong advantage
  • Advanced Excel skills and confident with manual reconciliations
  • Familiar with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Exact, Navision)
  • Detail-oriented, hands-on and process-driven mindset
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
