You will prepare, review, and process customs declarations, working closely with customers, colleagues, and customs authorities. Functie

  • Ensure a smooth and compliant flow of import and export shipments
  • Prepare, review, and submit customs declarations accurately and on time
  • Verify customs documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
  • Interpret and apply customs regulations and procedures correctly
  • Act as the link between customers, customs authorities, and internal teams
  • Maintain accurate data and records in operational systems
  • Identify opportunities to improve customs processes and efficiency



Profiel

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a (Assistant) Declarant
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations and documentation
  • Proactive, organized, and highly detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Comfortable working with systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to prioritize tasks and perform well in a dynamic environment
  • A collaborative team player with a customer-focused mindset
