Job Description

As Buyer a.i., you will provide operational and administrative support to the procurement function, ensuring purchasing activities and supplier records are maintained accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Create and maintain purchasing records within the company's ERP system.
  • Manage supplier master data and ensure information remains accurate and up to date.
  • Support the administration of supplier agreements, pricing structures, and commercial terms.
  • Process procurement-related requests and administrative updates.
  • Monitor and manage procurement communications and enquiries.
  • Maintain procurement documentation and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to support purchasing activities and business requirements.
  • Generate reports and analyse procurement data where required.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality and procurement processes.
  • Provide day-to-day support to the wider procurement team to ensure continuity of service.

The Successful Applicant

For this role as Buyer a.i.: Requirements:

    • Previous experience in a Buyer, Purchasing, Procurement Support, Supply Chain, or related role.
    • Mandatory experience working within the food, food ingredients, FMCG food, or food manufacturing sector.
    • Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and purchasing administration.
    • Experience working with ERP systems and business applications.
    • Strong data management and administrative skills.
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Fluent in Dutch and English, or able to operate effectively in a bilingual business environment.
