Working closely with Sales Directors, Category Management and senior leadership, you will play a key role in identifying untapped opportunities, driving strategic initiatives and strengthening collaboration across the business.Job DescriptionAs Business Development Manager, you will act as the commercial owner of the Home category across Central Europe. Unlike a traditional sales position, this role does not include direct account ownership. Instead, you will focus on developing growth strategies, improving category performance and unlocking commercial opportunities together with local sales teams and key stakeholders.You will operate at the intersection of Business Development, Category Management and Commercial Leadership, making a direct impact on revenue growth, profitability and market performance.Key responsibilities include:Identifying and developing profitable growth opportunities across central Europe (exact scope tbd);Driving category growth strategies and commercial initiatives across multiple European markets;Partnering with Sales Directors and Key Account Managers to unlock additional business potential;Contributing to assortment, portfolio and pricing discussions to maximise profitability;Supporting strategic customer opportunities and major tenders through commercial analysis and recommendations;Translating market insights, customer trends and competitive intelligence into actionable growth plans;Driving cross-functional collaboration between Sales, Category Management, Marketing and Product Development;Influencing commercial decision-making through strong business cases and data-driven recommendations;Supporting successful product introductions and optimisation of the category portfolio;Acting as a catalyst for change, continuous improvement and commercial excellence across the division.The Successful ApplicantThe successful candidate combines a strong commercial mindset with category-based thinking and an entrepreneurial approach.
