As a Logistics Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of a team of approximately 10 to 15 warehouse employees operating within a high-volume logistics environment. This role is highly visible, hands-on, and requires a leader who enjoys being on the warehouse floor, coaching people, solving problems, and making decisions in real time.

Job Description

Work as assistant teamleader:

  • Coordinate daily logistics activities to ensure timely and efficient operations.
  • Supervise and support the logistics team in their tasks and responsibilities.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve operational goals.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports and documentation.
  • Resolve any issues or challenges in logistics operations as they arise.

The Successful Applicant

A successful assistant teamleader should have:

  • Educational background in logistics or a related field.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with logistics processes and inventory management.
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluency in English.
